Hey Reader, I had a BEAUTIFUL burst of inspiration on Wednesday 😍 You know when you go to put some small tweaks on a bit of work... but then something clicks and you're like OH F*** YEAH and you spend the day redesigning the whole thing. This is what happened with my free content repurposing guide. I decided to watch Lizzy Goddard's "Clicks Don't Lie*" training. (*affiliate link. Plsss get this if you are offering freebies or digital products it is genuinely ENLIGHTENING!) I went to tweak my old guide based on what I learned… and ended up completely rebuilding it. (Even though the training said not to do that. Sorry! In my defence it didn't take long.) It’s now a simple 3-step worksheet. It takes you through turning one piece of content into five new posts by changing just two key variables. Honestly, I cannot believe how much simpler I’ve just made my own mental model of content creation 😮 It makes so much sense now. If you already make content but you constantly feel behind or inconsistent (it makes sense why ppl compare it to a hamster wheel right? 🐹)… then this’ll give you a reusable structure to repurpose your own content. So you can:
I’ve put the whole thing into a free Notion page. You can grab it below and test it out on something you’ve already made. Maybe even plan next week’s content in 30 minutes instead of overthinking for hours? 👉 One Idea ➡️ Five Posts: A 30-Minute Repurposing System(It's a direct link, I won't make you fill out a form 😛) If you try it, I’d love to know whatcha think! Have a lovely weekend, Damon P.S. don't forget my new content repurposing offers where I can repurpose some content for you, give you messaging feedback, and help you create a personalised system. So you don't have to do this alone :) 🌿 Stuff I'm Doing Recently 🌿February Week #3 (Links with an * are affiliate) Find me on: My Website | Instagram | TikTok | LinkedIn |
Hi! I'm Damon. I help creative businesses share their message online. I also send sporadic newsletters about creative life.
How's it going Reader? Do you ever think about how often we are expected to do things quickly and efficiently? I've been writing blog posts in the creative industry for 4 years. Compared to other types of work, I'd say blog posts (and writing in general) are pretty undervalued. It's frowned upon to be charging loads for them because they're "just blog posts". Despite that, I can never get myself to rush through them for the sake of earning more for my time. I want to put so much care into...
Hey Reader! On Tuesday I talked about my experience with making a new website for myself, realising that there were a LOT of big decisions about branding involved, and getting stuck in with the design aspect of it (read here) Today I'm gonna share about the writing and building aspect. Website building is also copywriting in disguise As I said last time, I started out by playing around with templates in Squarespace. But I quickly got stuck because I still had no idea what I wanted the site to...
How's it going Reader? I recently made a new website for myself, and the building process was actually fairly doable! It was all the preparation beforehand that was difficult af and took aaaaages... Most advice for creatives says to not build your own website, because a designer can do a way better job of it + help you avoid the generic Squarespace Template look. Many of us, however, will choose to do it ourselves anyway. I'm not here to debate whether I recommend doing that or not, because...
